Apply Preset vs. Batch Develop -- Any difference?

    I've noticed that Process / Apply Preset and Batch / Batch Develop seem to do exactly the same thing (with the exception of the Export option in Batch Develop).  Am I missing anything?

    Not that I can see. Apply Preset used to be simpler to access, as there was a drop menu for it, and it was more prominent in the right click menu, too.  Now Batch Develop looks like the simpler technique to me, even when you don't need the export option.
