    Melanie,

When can we expect a RAW plugin update to correct the issue previously reported with the Nikon D90?

Yes Eli, I believe that it does but please let me know if you find different.

    Melanie,

The thumnail view and slide show still show the NEF (Nikon RAW) images as much darker than their related JPEG files.  The photos were shot using RAW + JPEG FIne.  I had sent sample images to your support group and they verified the problem.

    Mel,

I can verify Eli's view of NEF from the D90. The new update does not change anything

Are there any known issues with the latest RAW converter on Canon CR2 files??  I just updated to the latest RAW converter (58) and 2.5 version (build 358) and it has broken conversion of my RAW files (Canon CR2).  Now any .CR2 file I preview or view are pretty much unusable (green channel is pegged or inverted).  Same issue on 1Ds2 and 1D2 files. It used to work, more or less... not well, but functional.

Anyway - makes ADCSee unusable for searching/editing originals now. Add that its corrupting my database everytime I accidently move into a folder with raw files... it redecodes them with the strange colors and saves new thumbnails.

Any guidance you can provide will be helpful.

Note I do use WinXP-64... not WinXP-32 nor Vista

The two images, one converted using b358 and latest b58 RAW plugin; the second after a system restore to get back to b355 and b58 RAW plugin I had been using.

Can we keep this to the other thread only please?  Will confuse otherwise.  Would you like me to delete these last 2 posts?

    Hi Sam -

I posted it in both because this thread is a notifier to users of a new product, and my post informs those same people an issue exists they may want to consider before installing it. But its your forum to manage, so do as you think best.

    Tim,

Which CR2 Files are you having problems with? I've tried multiple CR2 flies from different camera models and they all look OK. Would you be interested in sending me the files you're having problems with?

    Tim,

I investigated further & I am seeing issues with Canon 1Ds Mark III sRAW files. This is an issue that was introduced in the latest RAW plugin & will be fixed in the next update. All other Canon sRAW's and RAWs look ok. Is this consistent with what you are seeing?

    Hi Erin,

No, not really. The files aren't sRAW - they're the normal (full res) .CR2 RAW format. I've uploaded them as follows:

    1M5E0002.CR2
    1M5E0011.CR2

Odd - the links didn't take:

    1M5E0002.CR2

    1M5E0011.CR2

    Tim,

Thank-you for the images. The images you posted are sRAW, they are still CR2 files but the images are 2784x1856 where as the RAW files are 5616x3744. All RAW files should work correctly.

This issue has been resolved and will be included in the next RAW update.

Erin, 10,000 apologies. You are correct and those are sRAW files. I'll check with other files and if I find any that are not working correctly forward them.

Thank you for your assistance and support.

I'm also interested in this ... I'm thinking about getting Pro 2.5, but I probably won't purchase until I know 5D MII support is coming in the near future.

I wrote to support and ask this very question and was told Feb 10th. Right now the only RAW editor I have is the one that came with the camera.
