    hi guys

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate version, i installed Acdsee photo manager 2009. it runs at the first time, but then, it mostly put me off every time i run it.

could you please advise if the Acdsee photo manager 2009 is windows 7 compatible? if not (it is like the case), is there any solution to make it runs?

    thanks in advance.

    Regards

    Ken

Not sure who moderates these forums, but some form of response would be good.

Yes Windows 7 is new, but with the upgrade packages selling well and the OS shipping on new systems, ACD will need a Windows 7 compatible version soon!

    Hello,

To answer your question, Sherm, a team of volunteers and I moderate the ACDSee Community.

    CoKen,

Thank you for your inquiry into Photo Manager 2009's Windows 7 compatibility.

Although Photo Manager 2009 has met Microsoft standards for compatibility and reliability on Windows 7 and has been verified Compatible with Windows 7, we have identified usability issues that some users may encounter related to Windows 7 Libraries and high DPI display settings.

As Photo Manager 2009 was not developed for use on Windows 7, this is not a supported operating system for the product.

  • Hello, Melanie...

There is one compatability issue that EVERYONE with Win7 or Vista 64bit and an HP AIOs will suffer...  Although Windows programs can scan from them, PhotoManager 2009 cannot, and will lockup... Only way to get out of the lockup is to open Task Manager.

This has become very frustrating... been with ACDSEE since the early bulletin board days, and have thousands of pictures, etc.  I really don't like the idea of having to start over... but, if we cannot solve this problem, I guess I will have to
