ACDSee Pro 2 and 2.5

ACDSee freezes on "Copy to folder" ...

Hi,

nearly every time I copy one or more photos using "Copy to Folder" ACDSee freezes for some seconds after copying the last photo. I read in this forum, that others have this problem too, but I couldn't find any solution.

I think it has nothing to do with the database, since it also occur with a new and empty database - and even it has something to do with it, it shoudln't happen.

The problem occurs in both versions 2.0 and 2.5.

Is it perhaps related to a particular file you are trying to copy? Maybe it is corrupt in some way and causing ACDSee to choke?

In this case, 80% of my 20.000 digital photos over several years must be corrupted randomly.

It also occurs with new files.

And if I open the "Copy to folder" dialoge and close it with "Cancel" without copying anything, it freezes also some seconds.
