ACDSee Pro 2 and 2.5

Acdsee and windows 7 RC1

    Hello,

    I'm an acdsee  pro 2.0 user running windows 7 RC1.

    Now when I start acdsee and use it it closes after a minute or 2  because an error encountered.
    When I try to update I get the this error that I can't.

    Is there a way that I can update to 2.5 or install it, will 3.0 solve this? and if so do I need to repurchase it?

    Have you tried to install Pro 2.5 trial and not the update to Pro 2? Your Pro 2 key should be sufficient to unlock the trial of 2.5 to the full version. Just download Pro 2.5 here:

    I have uninstalled the 2.0 and reinstalled 2.5, my serial worked, and I have converted the old database to a new one.

    But never the less I get the same error again and then it closes. (atachment picture)

    Have you tried all this?

    And have you tried to install Pro 2.5 outside the program files folder, e.g. in C:\ directly?
