<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm not sure how this is related to your other report of problems, but see my response to your other post.&#38;nbsp; I think your best bet is simply copying the database folder if not changing versions of ACDSee.&#38;nbsp; If you are changing versions, then your first try should be copying the db and then running Database-&#38;gt;Convert Database on the copy.&#38;nbsp; And next should be doing a text file export from the old computer (select all images, then Database-&#38;gt;Export-&#38;gt;Database using the text file option).&#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;I purchased a new computer and I can't get ACDSee to restore. I get the message &#34;Database being restored is not valid.&#38;nbsp; Restore cannot continue.&#34;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The photos are on an external drive which I copied to Drive C using ACDSee.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;On my old computer the main photos were on an internal drive called &#34;Drive E&#34; with a backup copy on an external drive.&#38;nbsp; I was unable to copy the files back to a drive &#34;E&#34; as it is a removable disk on the new computer.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I hope that someone can help me as I certainly don't want to catalogue thousands of photos again.&#60;/p&#62;
