In earlier forum layout it was possible to automatically find the next unread topic in a selected forum category just by clicking a button. Now it seems as if I have to scroll the hole list to find the next new one in the category I am interested in (e.g. "All unread content since last visit" or "New Topics since last visit").

Why isn't it possible to choose a view in a specific category as under "AcdSee Product Forums"?

And after reading a thread there is no button, as in the earlier version to jump to the next unread message.

Am I missing something?

I tried a search for "Windows 7" within the Pro 3 Features forum:

[attachment=0]

As the clip shows, the search text "Windows 7" is not to be seen in the two-line quote from the results. It would be nice if the two-liner chosen did in fact show the search text to be present.

Well, opening the second search result, it shows the individual post, from which the quote is taken. Only the full post doesn't contain the search text either. So why am I being directed to it?

The second search result comprises 33 posts. Must I peruse all of them to see where the search text is mentioned? That's what I'd expect the underlying software to do for me.

Finally what is the sort order applied to search results, assuming there is one?

I expect this is one for Melanie. May I take the opportunity to thank you for contributions to the ACD forums.

My personal favourite when it comes to raw conversion is DxO Optics Pro - much better colours in the shadow areas than my second choice: Nikon Capture NX 2. . . .

Is it just me, or did something change regarding the "subscribe to" buttons? I had never subscribed a thread before ever, but just accidentally subscribed to a couple of dozen or so in the last few days. Turns clicking anywhere in the middle of the page to the *right* of the subscribe buttons results in your being subscribed. Can't really be coincidence that I've never had a problem with this before, but now it happens all the time?

I know, as a moderator, I should be able to figure this stuff out, but that's toatlly outside my area...

PLEASE do this!! It's cumbersome to wind up at the bottom of a page and have to scroll back up to the top to get to the "Back to... <different terms used in different places>" link. "Back" isn't always a satisfactory approach, depending on whether one has gone to a second page, etc. Thanks.

Howdy;

I'd like to suggest changing the "About You" title in the members Profile Info to "System Specs", and having this info display as a signature on the bottom of all posts. This would be helpful in answering folks questions.

If possible it would be good to also have the "Phtography Profile" info included in that signature.

Cheers!

Recently some users have been having problems with logging in and we've found it to be that they have cookies disabled. Your session is authenticated with a cookie and if you have them disabled, you'll get redirected and not be able to post.

If you're having problems, enable cookies and see if that fixes the problem.

It would be very useful to make a framing menu inside the batch processing main menu. The purpose: no need to change to another software when we want frames for picture(s) with determination colour and width parameter independently from size of pictures!!!!
